What bothers me more is Mai constantly brushing him off. Zuko is internalized, but I can count more than a handful of times where he actively sought her as emotional support and she replied by saying she didn't want to hear it, or that he was stupid for even thinking it. He tries constantly to please her while there's no reward for his hard work. She flatly says how she's hungry, he gets her food, and that's it? There's no follow up. Katara strikes me as a lot more understanding and rewarding of actions like that. ;o;

Though I'm in love with the idea of heated battles followed by very meaningful catharsis. I think that's my attraction to Zutara.
