I totally agree that Shahid is a better actor than Imran, but I actually think Rui is a relatively easy role to play (I've watched three drama versions of HYD now and I don't think the Rui's in each version had to do much in terms of acting... they just really had to look pretty!). :P
Deepika as Shigeru might be interesting! I haven't seen watched a lot of her movies but she might be good for the role. :)
