Well, many of you seemed to be eager for Avatar finale icons in the request post earlier and I'm dumping some of them today... but as you might notice, my icons don't cover the entire finale... not even half of the entire thing. For me, the finale's been a lot to take in so I'm iconning it pretty slowly. :P I'll definitely have more to post, though! Also, the Half Blood Prince trailer's come out as well some other interesting photos so I've been iconning those as well. :) I've started on the individual interest icon requests so at least some of those will be posted sometime soon-ish, I hope. :)

I've got some icons of that lovely episode, "The Beach", as well some nametag icons that serves as my personal response to the batshit insanity that going on in the shipping sectors of this fandom (in multiple shipping communities, mind you). I know that there are awesome people too and these icons were made for you. Also, I've got a few HP icons and a few icons of (mostly the beginning of) the Peter Jackson Fellowship of the Ring movie. I wanted to make more, but my icon muse kind of died on me after finishing those. :( I'll try to make more of the entire series though! :)

There is a Facebook group called Neville Longbottom is a BAMF and they've come up with a list of Neville's awesomeness that was just so awesome that I had to icon the facts. I mean, the main list is not your average cut-and-paste list of Chuck Norris jokes as they are quite HP-specific. The credit for the text belongs to their respective creators at the FB group!

Also, I decided to try making a few wallpapers. I have a widescreen laptop, though, so I've provided both 1280x800 and 1024x786 dimensions.

It's been a while since I've posted anything so I figured I might get rid of a few things on my hard drive. :)
I blame Iroh.org for most of the Avatar icons... the screencaps are too amazing there! :) The Firefly ones involve a very experimental kind of coloring on my part (you can find the tutorial for the steps I used over here). I thought it fit the warm-toned, dusty feel of the show... but tell me what you think. I'll try to make clear icons at another point, but this was fun! Also, I must say that I had too much fun with the promotional pics for the OoTP movie... it's one of my favorites in the series so I do hope they get it right!

I think some of these icons mke up for the general dearth of text in my icons :D. The A:TLA lemon ones were inspired by my reading too many lemons of many ships these last few weeks. The Hogwarts House Pride Icons, on the other hand, were made because I found this cool Old School font and thought it would be quite hilarious to see, for example, Ravenclaw Varsity or something. ~~Icon #23 was made on crack... as were the FTW Hogwarts icons.~~ And the Bollywood icons? I was really bored and had made them a while ago. Mostly, they have a lot of OldSchool!actors and actresses. You won't find too many new faces in there.
