This is for the Casting picspammy challenge but the idea behind it has been in my head for a while.

This past decade (2000-2009) is the decade that I grew up and matured in and, while it has been a bumpy ride, it's also been a time of discovery for me. picspammy's new challenge is to reflect on this past decade so I'm making picspams about the movies and TV shows that I've grown in love (and sometimes grown out of love) with. I'm breaking it up into two picspams for my own sanity so this one will be the movies I've enjoyed in this past decade, arrange first by year of release and then by alphabetical order (if it was a series of movies, I just tried to pick one good representative picture from the bunch). You can find the title and year of each by hovering over for the alt-text. Feel free to remark upon my weird taste. :P

This may be that icon post that nobody but me cares about but I'm trying to de-stress from exams and I realized that all my recent favorite Indian movies have Madhavan in there somewhere and one of my Indian filmmaking OTPs is Mani Ratnam/Madhavan soo, it's a tribute to the two of them.

I do however need to make a proper batch of Guru icons sometime. :P

I think some of these icons mke up for the general dearth of text in my icons :D. The A:TLA lemon ones were inspired by my reading too many lemons of many ships these last few weeks. The Hogwarts House Pride Icons, on the other hand, were made because I found this cool Old School font and thought it would be quite hilarious to see, for example, Ravenclaw Varsity or something. Icon #23 was made on crack... as were the FTW Hogwarts icons. And the Bollywood icons? I was really bored and had made them a while ago. Mostly, they have a lot of OldSchool!actors and actresses. You won't find too many new faces in there.
