One of my favorite tropes is Nakama, which is, essentially, a group of characters who manage to organically become a family. Sometimes they do it to get the job done or save the world. Sometimes they have to get past the most ingrained differences. But sometimes they just find companionship despite living with awkward social lives or struggles to keep their ohana together. No matter the reasons they have or paths they take, though, the result is always magical. :D
